During this project students engaged with the basic and expressive elements of art such as line, color and shape.

 

Using expressive elements, students created areas of emphasis in order to lead the viewers eye through their sculpture.  Students designed and constructed an original composition and dynamic visual story for their final sculpture. 

 

The goal of this assignment was for students to take true ownership over their artwork, continuing to understand art as a powerful visual language.
